Jerry is an experienced management consultant who works effectively in a wide range of client settings. He has a broad business experience combined with a professional and technical background. He works well with people at all levels and from all disciplines.

Jerry has a flexible and positive approach. He is a quick learner, able to make sense of complex situations, analyse problems, identify practical options and to create and direct commercially sound solutions.

Jerry is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors. He has held board positions for PMINZ and the Institute of Public Administration (IPANZ). He is a Fellow of the Project Management Institute in New Zealand (FPMINZ)

Jerry is also an experienced facilitator and trainer. He has authored and delivered a range of courses on project management and related topics.


  • Bachelor of Science (Geology) from the University of Exeter (UK)
  • Graduate Diploma in Business Studies from Massey University.

Recent Experience

  • Fire and Emergency NZ - Portfolio planning support 
  • Ministry for Business Innovation and Employment - Jerry was engaged to review the Portfolio practices in the Corporate Portfolio, agree an improvement plan, and put in place changes to ensure the Portfolio is operating effectively and efficiently prior to the commencement of the newly appointed Deputy Chief Executive (DCE) for Corporate Governance and Information.
  • NZ Police
    • Jerry was one of the team engaged to develop an integrated planning framework, creating performance measurements and aligning strategies to outcomes.
    • Jerry was also part of the team who were asked to develop a prioritisation model that will assist in the prioritisation of the 18/19 Police portfolio.
  • Victoria University Council - From the start of 2016, the new (smaller) University Council required revised governance arrangements.
    • Reviewed the functions and powers of the Council, assessed existing resources and developed a new governance handbook and related materials
    • Developed and populated a comprehensive delegations framework for the University
